Louisville, Ky Senior Portrait Photography: Alexis

I
sooo love doing Senior Portraits for several reason but one BIG one is because it satisfies my itch a little bit for "Fashion Photography"…hee,  yes I may or may not pretend I am doing a fashion photo spread in one of the big name fashion magazines and well I definetly met my model when I met Alexis!  Uhhh....Hello Gorgeous!!

She is not a “model”  but I told her that she should be and I bet you agree!   She is actually a vocal major at a performing arts school here in Louisville, Ky.  She keeps a very disciplined schedule rehearsing for the Kentucky Opra every night after school while holding down a job and trying to decide on the very best place to attend College.  Full of dreams and a lots of ambition it is plain to see that the drive she has will carry her far though life; and I have a feeling that we will be seeing great things from this talented young lady!!

Wishing you the best Alexis!!  Thank you so much for choosing me to capture this special milestone in your life!    :)

Louisville, Ky Child Photographer / Lane

M
eet Lane..isn't he a cutie pie with those big blue eyes and curious little side smile. I had so much fun doing this shoot! I have had the idea of the vintage high chair so I asked if I could bring one with me..being the super cool mom his was she said yes!  The highchair was my brothers and I when we were little and my mom still uses it now for the grandkids. I stopped by her house on the way to the shoot and hurled in the back of my vehicle. When I pulled up for the photoshoot I must admit I squilled a little when I saw the black fence and horses..couldn't have been a more perfect backdrop!

 What a golden smile! HI!

What a great little sport he was...as we moved him all around the yard and house!

It was so great meeting you guys , thank you for picking me to capture your little guy's 6 month milesotne  :)

Louisville Wedding Photographer: Mark & Amanda

D
o these two lovebirds look familiar? You may remember thier wedding a while back...I nicknamed her “the laughing bride” because well I don’t know that I have ever seen a bride smile and laugh so much, it was so super sweet! It was very important to them to have their first look to be the moment she walked down the aisle … so finally after waiting for the perfect weather, I was able to shoot the two of them at sunset..the lighting couldn’t have been more perfect, and yes she was still laughing :)

Ha Ha....don't be late Amanda!!

Notice....Still Laughing  .')  Hmmm..I wonder what he is saying?  Well maybe not..hee!

I have a feeling that "And They Lived Happily Ever After" just may be thier story  .')

Child Photography Louisville, Ky: Newborn/ Aisley

I
can speak from experience when I say that there is nothing like having a daughter. The love you feel completely saturates you,  but I have also heard that when you see your daughter have a daughter that its even more intese. Stacy..who will soon to be called "yaya" (how cute is that?) was so proud and excited!  She couldn’t wait to show me this precious little life that her daughter had brought into the world.

Her name is Aisley.   She ooosed with sweetness.  The beauty and purity  of a new life is not anything you could completely capture in an mage but  I do believe you can come really close and I think we did. This was her one month photoshoot and she totally rocked it! ,’)

I was truly an honored to be able to do these for my long time friend who just became a grandmother and chose me to come out and capture these sweet moments of her daughter and her sweet little family.

Louisville, Ky Child Photography / Black Acre Farm: ELLE

E
lle, isn't she a beauty? She is our neighbor and since moving here her mother and I have become friends. However I must say that I am very sad that they will soon be moving :( Lydia is very upset by the news since Elle has become her new bff! .')

Elle just turned 9 months old, she is crawling everywhere and just on the verge of standing and walking all by herself!

I am so happy her mother has asked me to photograph her again, I have a feeling we all just might see her grow up right here on my blog..what a pleasure! Thanks girls and we sure will miss you being next door!

Portrait: JAX

I
t was going to be a super hot day so we met fairly early at the park for the photoshoot.  Meet JAX...is that not the cutest name?  He had his baseball gear and the most adorable little side smile all ready to go for the shoot, but have you ever known a 2 year old to stand still for more than 1.2 seconds?  But to me these are the most fun !  He was such a sport!

I had so much fun chasing him around and after a bit I think he warmed up to the fact that his parents were letting some strange lady follow him around chanting " don't smile Jax" only to get one...then a few.

Thank you so much guys for choosing me to capture Jax's 2 year old {super awesome} expressions!:)
