Louisville Family Photographer: The Perry Family

M
eet the Perry family, these folks are super special because the mom is this picture happen to grow up with my hubby..(they are cousins) awwwww.... In fact I really enjoyed getting to know them a little better  especially getting a little dirt on Chad from when they were kids apparently he was quite a character and those in his family know what I mean... .')
So typically I meet people at different places around town like a park, farm or favorite hang out spot but every now and then a client will ask me if I can come to thier home. I find that when I do they are the most comfortable and I can usually capture the best shots....thats what we did here :)

It was so fun shooting with you guys, we love your family!!  See you again soon  .')

A Thanksgiving Review

I
am so thankful for SO much!  I am living my dream in so many ways, and I can't thank Jesus enough for all that He has done for me in the past few years, (those closest to me know how He has really answered my prayers)!  :)
Here are a couple of pics from Thanksgiving day, sharing it with the most important people in my life!   My awesome family...they are my heart and soul!  LUV them!!

Mom & Dad,  my brother and wife Cheryl, thier boys...Micheal, Jacob, Samuel, & Jacob.  My husband Chad, our daughter Lydia & me.  Yes that's 4 boys, and one little rowdy princess!  They really love each other, its so cute....they are really like her 4 older brothers that will protect her!

This is Lydia with Chasity's girls (Chad's sister).  Layla, Jaycee, & Dyxie...LUV these sweet little angels!   We never all got together for a pic but I got this of the girls (barely)  as you can see Lydia is thrilled...oh and yes btw I am aware that she looks EXACTLY like her daddy!!  :)   lol   Anyway, the girls had been playing and she did NOT like that we had to stop.. ...
one single bit!

I love this pic of Lydia, little does she know that she has YEARS of practicing those little white and black keys ahead!   :)  oh yes!

Here is hoping you had an awesome Thanksgiving filled with lots of great memories!

God Bless:)

Louisville Wedding Photographer: Justin & Cara

T
here was an empty seat on a bus right beside her,  he had his eye on it.  As he made his way down the aisle  he quietly hoped that she had saved it just for him; she secretly prayed that he would take it!  Guess what?  He got it and six years later…they are still side by side!

After being around them for a while I could tell that they are super comfortable around each other. I could sense a trust and understanding that they had for one another....if you look close you can see it.

One afternoon she left to go to the grocery,  as she walked through the door she said " Justin I have something for you"  but then replied  "I have something for YOU first"  He was  waiting for her

       in the kitchen....
              with a ring.

after asking her how he proposed....I realized I never asked her what she came home with for him, but then I thought who cares? right?   I mean...SHE got a RING...HELLO!    .')

In May at Huber's Orchard and Winery Cara & Justin will be married.  The setting is going to be amazing and the bride sure to be simply stunning.

Congratulations guys!!   It was a pleasure shooting your engagement session and I am thrilled that you chose me to do capture your big day!  I am really looking foward to it!  It  just know it is going to be absolutely beautiful!  :)

Louisville, Ky. Event Photographer: CMA Celebrity Lounge Event /Nashville

A
couple of weeks ago I received a call from CEO of Style Icon Andre Wilson and I may or may not have squealed a little bit after I hung up the phone (but don’t tell him that)  .')  He had called to ask me if I could photograph 3 models for the upcoming CMA awards celebrity lounge event held in Nashville, Tn. where the focus is music, style giving and raising awareness for Blessings in a Backpack!....Hmm?  Let me see, do I want to do this...Uhhh Yeah!!

We met at a beautiful farm in Prospect, Ky, on a ridiculously gorgeous Saturday. My assistant and I arrived a bit early and waited in anticipation to see how this was all going to roll out.  A little bit later  Andre arrives with his entourage...there were musical instruments, few racks of cloths, a videographer, a hat designer, and 3 very beautiful creatures... models, Shannon Voss, Kathleen  Neumann and Amy Dennison...we all got to work!   It was a dream....they knew exactly how to look at me, where to stand and how to pose .... buttah!

BAAAM....that's the SHOT BABY!!!

HOLLA!!
The beautiful hats and fascinators you are looking at are created by Madam Foo Foo Couture now available at Von Maur.  They are a must have !!  /http://www.madamfoofoo.com/

Louisville, Ky. Engagement Session: Amelia & Michael

I
love to figure out the dynamics between a couple at the engagement shoot. Some are playful and others more reserved with their affection.  I wasn’t sure about which defined these 2 at first but after a few poses their personality together began to shine through.  Thier playfulness and affection between them became more apparent with each shot...made me smile! :)

Thier Duncun Memorial wedding will be held on an evening in March and I am really looking foward to photographing these two at such a charming place...check back in the spring for a wedding post!!

Congratulations on your engagement Amelia and Michael !  :)
